Currently available for pre-order, the consumer version of Sony's virtual reality headset will launch in October this year.
The device will be available for $399.99 when it does finally hit shelves, although Sony has recently been pushing a $499.99 launch bundle, which also includes the recommended PlayStation Move motion controllers, a PlayStation Camera, and a copy of PlayStation VR Worlds.
